IPA Aran 2019 poster

This years IPA Aran event is from Tuesday the 2nd to Thursday the 4th of July.

Like previous years we have lots to see and do, including the sea swim, cycling treasure hunt, hill walking, ceili dancing, photo competition, art and crafts, loads of kids activities, and lots lots more.

On Wednesday the group will sail to Inis Meain for a walking tour with our wonderful tour guide Cyril. We have a lot packed into the 3 days, and I believe the price offers great value, especially as it includes your meals, bike hire, ferry to Inis Mean etc.

This year we’re going with a 4 course gala dinner on the second night. See attached poster.

To register for this event you must (1) book your own accommodation and travel to Inis Mór to arrive at lunchtime on the 2nd of July, and (2) email mickindublin@gmail.com with your NAME, PHONE NO, and NUMBER of Adults/Kids in your group and T-SHIRT SIZE for each (Adults XXL XL L M S and Kids by age). As its only 4 weeks away please register before the 10th of June. Participants are to meet at the Aran Hotel for lunch on the 2nd and there will be a registration desk where you can collect your registration pack and pay the fees. (Adults €60 or Kids €35).

I have not stated any particular ‘age’ for kids, but the only difference is the meal types. If your child is happy with a kids meal (nuggets & chips for example) you can register them as a kid, otherwise register them as an adult.

This year we will be joined yet again by a few of our Garda little blue hero’s and their families whom we’re always delighted to welcome to Aran. The President of IPA Mr. Conor O’Higgins will also join us along with his National Executive team, who yet again have very kindly given financial support towards this event. And of course we have a number of overseas participants – so a great few days are expected.

I’m also in consultation with a Galway based company called Handsome Burger who have agreed to sponsor this years t-shirts. A big thank you to Rory and his team in advance for their support.

If you’ve any further question please don’t hesitate to contact me on mickindublin@gmail.com

Keep an eye on our Facebook page – IPA Aran for further updates.

Hopefully we will see you all in Aran.
