A lovely sunny September day at Tullamore Golf Club, Co. Offaly saw 32 IPA members from all over Ireland gather from early morning to compete in the International Police Association All Ireland Golf Competition. All were welcomed by Tullamore club captain for 2019 Pat Corcoran, Donal Sweeney from IPA National Executive and Collette Conlon from Roscommon/Longford IPA.
This competition is organised on a yearly basis by IPA Social and Hobbies Secretary Donal Sweeney in association with Tullamore Golf Club and is always very competitive, this year was no different. Some high scores coming in early but some of the later teams on the course managing to surpass the early starters. Prizes on the night presented by President of IPA Ireland Conor O’Higgins.
